APRIL 14, 2025 – ALL-UNIT LWVCC MEETING THAT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The Forum will provide information about SPECIAL DISTRICTS IN CURRY COUNTY. The Forum will be held at the CURRY PUBLIC LIBRARY FROM 1-3 PM.
SPEAKERS: JULIE VAN HOOSE, is the Director of the Chetco Community Public Library. She will provide an overview of special districts. KYLIE WEGNER, Curry County Assessor. She will discuss the role of the Assessor’s Office in Special Districts. LACEY YOUNGER, Lead Appraiser. She will provide a tax rate summary. SUE GOLD, Board President, Cape Ferrello Rural Fire Protection District. She will provide information about Fir Protection Districts in Unincorporated communities.
