Spring 2026 CANDIDATE FORUMS

Congressional District 4 Candidate Forums Playlist as presented by the Corvallis League of Women Voters

In the upcoming local primary election, three candidates have filed for Curry County Commissioner, Position 1 – Lynn Coker, Jeremy Dumire, and Jeffrey Schoonover.

To give voters the opportunity to learn more about the candidates, the League of Women Voters of Curry County will be holding candidate forums as follows:

· Port Orford City Hall Council Chambers (555 West 20th Street, Port Orford) on Monday, April 20, 2026;

· Curry Public Library (94341 3rd Street, Gold Beach) on Wednesday, April 22, 2026;

· Chetco Community Public Library (405 Alder Street, Brookings) on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

All forums begin at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately one and half hours. Please plan to attend!

The forums feature candidates running in contested races for the November general election. It’s LWVCC practice to invite candidates for state office and county-wide office to all forums. The format is a moderated Q&A, with questions from audience members.

October 2022

Forum #1 – Port Orford

When: Wednesday, October 5th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Where: Port Orford Public Library, 1421 Oregon Street, Port Orford

NOTE: Due to scheduling conflicts and the League’s “empty chair” policy, there will be no candidates for state representative or county commissioner at this forum.
